“ Omg, I’m obsessed!!! It was SO good. Beautiful atmosphere, super friendly employees and delicious food. Love how casual it is too. Will be returning soon! ”
“ We saw some YouTube videos that recommended Jolly Rogers Seafood House. It was DELICIOUS! It was SO much cheaper compared to the restaurant that we ate at on Put-in-Bay. There was a line, but the employees had great teamwork moving the line quickly. I tried the highly recommended lobster bisque. It wasn't the best that I ever had, but it was good! You can't go to Lake Erie without having Walleye or Perch, so of course, I tried the Perch sandwich. Perch was so tender & not too fishy tasting. I loved it!! ”
“ Just had our annual trip to the Jolly Rogers. Great like normal. Tried the onions rings this time. Very good. ”
“ I haven’t been here in years. But I was looking for something at the start of lent yesterday, and this came to mind. I always assumed fried food based on when I used to go. But after pre looking at the menu and finding the salmon power bowl, I’m obsessed. There is hardly healthy things in town, or they lack quality outside just a salad. But this bowl was perfect and tasty, paired with lobster bisque I was set!! I will crave this every-time I came to town now, and know that I can get a quality healthy dish. (Sorry I had already taken a bite before the photo) ”
“ We visited Jolly Rogers Seafood House in Port Clinton, Ohio while touring around the Lakeside/Marblehead and Port Clinton area. I ordered the fried Walleye and chips and my wife had the fried Perch and chips. When our order arrived I was just amazed at the huge serving for the price we paid at the order counter. Each order had 4 - 5 pieces of fish, perfectly fried and seasoning with an excellent tartar sauce on the side. We were so hungry and the food looked so good I forgot to get a photo of my plate! Jolly Rogers is right on Lake Erie and has ample indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy the view and the breeze off the lake. I especially enjoyed the order at the window and pay first process. You get a number with your order, choose your drinks, then find a place to sit and the waitstaff brings the order to you. This is probably the biggest fish serving for the price we have found in the area. An excellent meal and we will definetely revisit. ”
“ Took my mom there on Mother’s Day. Walked in the line was clear back to the door. Very quick service and very quick getting our food. Kudos to the staff at Jolly Rogers. Great job will definitely go back. ”
“ We visited on a Saturday evening for dinner in mid-April 2025. We ordered take out. The atmosphere was great and the staff was great. It was packed but they moved fast. It was fun watching them bread the fish through the window. The best was the outdoor dining. The view out back at the water was amazing at sunset. It was a little chilly so most folks were inside. We decided to do take out but then changed our minds and ate at the car parked at the back facing out to the water. There is like a sandy beach area as well that we saw a couple kids playing at. We ordered: -Clam Chowder x2. These came with crackers. They tasted okay but not as flavorful as we are used to. Maybe a little under seasoned or watered down a bit? -Shore Dinner. This came with 3 perch and 1 walleye. We got side of onion rings with it. Everyone agreed that walleye over the perch but both were very good. Unfortunately the onion rings were soggy even though we just walked with them from the restaurant to the back to eat them. -Chicken Tenders with side of waffle fries. They did not give us any condiments and we had to go back into the restaurant to ask for ranch. -Salmon Bowl. Wife ordered this and said it was really good and also very filling. She said the only thing missing was a bit more of the dressing or sauce. It was a little dry. -Breaded Mushrooms. These were nice and hot and just okay. the breading was nice and crunchy but not seasoned as much as we had hoped either. Since the mushrooms they used were so large they got soggy pretty quickly. There is enough I would order this to share and not for 1 person unless you're very hungry. -Lobster Rolls with side of hush puppies. The lobster roll was good but definitely had better. Same goes for the hush puppies. Overall the food was good. A little disappointed in a couple things. We were just stopping by the area and wanted to try something local and not a chain. Glad we stopped by here. The view and atmosphere was unbeatable though. ”
“ I've been coming here for at least 30 years. My wife and I stop for lunch on our way home from Cedar Point every year after Halloweekends. We'll also make the 3 hour drive from mid Michigan when we want the best fried perch and hush puppies. Everything about it is excellent from the service to the food. We always get the same thing to eat every time we stop in. One perch boat, an order of French fries, onion rings and hush puppies ”
